Hardware: what you already have
No box to buy. The TV opens a plain link in its browser. The cashier screen opens with a link too, on a tablet or phone, no password. You can revoke any link at any time.
Screen and phone together
When the cashier taps "Ready", the number moves to the ready column and the customer's phone rings at the same moment. Whoever watches the TV and whoever stepped outside both get the call.
A customer without a smartphone? The cashier creates their ticket in one tap and they follow their number on the TV, like a paper ticket.
