Café Hafa, opened in 1921 according to Wikipedia, has several levels of terrace seating facing the Strait of Gibraltar, with Tarifa visible in the distance. It shows a habit of the city: people come for the view, stay, and come back. The Marshan plateau, which runs along the sea west of downtown, and the Grand Socco, the former market square outside the medina walls, also have cafés where the same faces often return.
For a neighbourhood café, loyalty does not come from a one-off promotion. It comes from the customer who returns every day and has a reason not to switch.
How the café loyalty card works with Stampylo
Stampylo follows the counter flow: the customer pays, scans the QR code with the phone camera and gets an order number. When the drink is ready, the cashier taps "Ready" and the stamp is added.
- No stamp without a real, confirmed order: a friend cannot fill someone else's card.
- The cashier sets the number of stamps for an order: one for a coffee, two for a full breakfast if you decide so.
- One reward per café, for example a free drink, redeemed at the counter with a 6-digit code.
- The card is saved with a WhatsApp message and can go into Google Wallet. Apple Wallet is not available yet.
Regulars who quietly disappear
A regular who has not come for several weeks has often moved elsewhere without a word. Stampylo can send them an automatic WhatsApp reminder; they can stop these messages at any time. The dashboard shows returning customers, and a summary arrives by email every Monday.
For visitors who liked the terrace, the invitation to leave a Google review after the visit can help the café be found on Google Maps. The Google button shows first to everyone, with no filter and nothing given in exchange.
A worked example to replace with your prices
Example: a mint tea at 10 DH (replace with your own price). With "buy 8 teas, the 9th is free", the reward costs you one tea for every eight sold. A regular who comes five times a week earns it in less than two weeks.

Stampylo is built for orders paid at the counter with a number. If your customers pay at the counter before sitting down, the flow works as it is.
Can a customer without a smartphone order?
Yes. The cashier creates a ticket in one tap and the number shows on the TV if you have one. That customer does not get a stamp card on a phone.
Can I change the reward later?
You choose the number of stamps and the reward. There is one reward per business, with no points and no tiers.
