The lunch rush in a city of offices

Wikipedia presents Hay Riad, around Avenue Annakhil and Mahaj Riad, as Rabat's new business and administrative centre. Agdal gathers university buildings and government agencies, and the Quartier de la Résidence in the Hassan district is home to many ministries.

For a snack, that means employees and students arriving at the same time, short on time, and often coming back several times a week if they are served well.

Customers wait without crowding the counter

The customer pays, scans the QR code and sees their number, how many orders are ahead and an estimated wait based on your average preparation time. They can sit down or wait outside.

When the sandwich or tacos is ready, the cashier taps "Ready": the phone rings and vibrates on Android. On iPhone the page must stay open on screen; the "Enable alert" button keeps the screen on with a loud alarm. A TV can show and announce the ready numbers.

Lunchtime stamps without fraud

A stamp is added only when the order is confirmed ready. For a group order from an office, the cashier can give several stamps. A customer without a smartphone gets a ticket created in one tap at the till, and the number shows on the TV.

Worked example to adapt

Example to replace with your own prices: a sandwich at 25 DH and the rule "8 meals, 1 free". An employee who comes twice a week reaches the reward in about a month. You choose one reward, for example a sandwich or a full menu.

Bringing people back after the holidays

When a lunch customer stops coming, an automatic WhatsApp reminder can be sent; they can stop messages any time. If the customer accepted marketing messages, you can also send at most one offer a week, bought as credit packs.
