What a custom rubber stamp costs

The stamp is what marks each visit on the card. Prices shown on online marketplaces, checked on 22 October 2026:

  • Marjane Mall, seller handiss: Trodat Printy 4912 stamp (47 x 18 mm), customisable with your text or logo, 89 DH.
  • Marjane Mall, seller espace zerktouni bureautique: Colop self-inking stamp (Cachet Complet Français 20), 160 DH.
  • Marjane Mall, seller Librairie Papeterie Bennani: do-it-yourself COLOP Printer 20/1 kit (you set the letters), 169 DH (was 179 DH).
  • Jumia, seller tanjashop: COLOP Printer 40/2 kit with interchangeable letters, 250 DH (was 280 DH), delivery 7 DH to a pickup point or 18 DH to the door in Casablanca Anfa.

A sample budget to start on paper

With the prices checked on 22 October 2026: 100 cards from imprimerie.ma (175 DH TTC) plus the 89 DH Trodat stamp from Marjane Mall come to 264 DH. With 1,000 cards (326 DH TTC), the total is 415 DH, and each printed card costs about 0.33 DH before delivery.

Add delivery: 100 DH for the cards (free on orders from 500 DH); the stamp's delivery depends on the seller. After that, there is nothing to pay each month except reprints when you run out. That is paper's big advantage.

What a paper card does well

  • It costs little to start: a few hundred dirhams, once.
  • Everyone gets it: one stamp per visit, the reward when the card is full.
  • No internet, no smartphone, no training: it works even during an outage.
  • Customers without a smartphone benefit like everyone else.
  • Your logo and address stay in the customer's wallet.
  • No subscription, no commitment.

Its limits, day to day

  • The card stays at home: the customer pays without a stamp, or you start them a second card.
  • It gets lost, wet or torn, and the stamps go with it.
  • A stamp is easy to copy: a customisable stamp sells for 89 DH on Marjane Mall (checked on 22 October 2026), and nothing links a stamp to a real order.
  • A staff member can stamp twice for a friend, and nothing records it.
  • No data: you do not know how many customers come back, or who stopped coming.
  • No reminders: a customer who stopped coming is someone you cannot write to.

How a digital loyalty card works

The card lives on the customer's phone: in Google Wallet or Apple Wallet, or on a simple web page. In most cases the customer installs no app.

The visit is confirmed by a scan at the counter or from the till. Every stamp is recorded: you see who comes back, and you can write to customers who stopped coming (notification or WhatsApp, depending on the tool).

The trade-off: you pay a subscription, the customer needs a smartphone, and the counter usually needs internet (some tools, like Fedelio, stamp offline and sync later).

Where Stampylo fits

Stampylo is a digital loyalty card for places where customers order at the counter: cafés, snack bars, juice bars. It is a web app: neither you nor your customers install anything.

  • The customer pays, scans the QR code at the counter and gets an order number for the day. When the cashier taps "Ready", the customer's phone rings. On Android it also vibrates; on iPhone it rings only while the ticket page stays open. If the customer saved their card on WhatsApp, they also get an "order ready" message.
  • A stamp is added only when the cashier confirms the order, and an anti-fraud check runs every day.
  • One reward per business, chosen by you.
  • The card is saved with a single WhatsApp message and can be added to Google Wallet. Apple Wallet is not available yet.
  • WhatsApp reminders to customers who stopped coming (they can turn them off), WhatsApp offer campaigns with paid credit packs, an optional birthday gift, and Google review requests after the visit.
  • A screen on any Smart TV, with order numbers called out by voice in Arabic, French or English. Manual tickets for customers without a smartphone.
  • No hardware to buy. Pay by bank transfer (Attijariwafa bank, CIH Bank) or with a prepaid activation code.

When paper is still the right choice

You can also do both: honour the paper cards already handed out until they are full, and offer the digital card to new customers.

  • Most of your customers do not have a smartphone.
  • Your counter has no reliable internet connection.
  • You have few regular customers and want no subscription.
  • You just want to test the idea of a loyalty card before going further.

Questions

How much does a paper loyalty card cost in Morocco?

Prices checked on 22 October 2026: 100 cards cost 163 DH HT (excl. VAT) at imprimi.ma or 175 DH TTC (incl. VAT) at imprimerie.ma, and 1,000 cards start at 326 DH TTC at imprimerie.ma. The four stamps checked on Marjane Mall and Jumia cost 89 to 250 DH. Delivery depends on the seller.

Does a digital card cost more than a paper one?

With paper you pay once, then only for reprints. A digital card is a subscription: MAD 149 a month with Stampylo (or MAD 399 for 3 months, MAD 1,490 a year), after a 14-day free trial, with no hardware to buy. The difference is in what paper cannot do: stamps that are not lost with the card and are tied to a confirmed order, and reminders to customers who stopped coming.

What about customers without a smartphone?

A digital card needs a smartphone. With Stampylo, the cashier can create a manual ticket for their order. For loyalty, nothing stops you from keeping a few paper cards for them.

How do I switch from paper cards to Stampylo?

Print the counter QR code, keep honouring the paper cards already handed out, and offer the digital card to customers with a smartphone. You can try it for 14 days, no credit card required.

Can digital stamps be cheated?

With Stampylo, a stamp is added only when the cashier confirms an order, and an anti-fraud check runs every day. So a customer cannot add a stamp on their own.
