Café in Salé

Café loyalty card in Salé

In Salé the first coffee comes early, near a tram stop or on the street corner, before crossing over to Rabat. In the evening the same people are back in their district. A café loyalty card in Salé helps you recognise those regulars and see who has stopped dropping by. Here is how Stampylo settles in at the counter.

Free demo, no commitment. Your plan is switched on once the bank transfer arrives.

Two peaks a day, morning and evening

Part of Salé's population works in Rabat and leaves early. The morning coffee is quick, standing up or on the terrace, before the tram or a shared grand taxi. Late in the day, cafés in Tabriquet, Bettana or Hay Salam get their regulars back, and they linger longer.

At the weekend the crowd changes: families, friends from the block, walkers heading for the Bou Regreg marina or Salé beach. A card on the phone goes wherever the customer goes, with no scrap of cardboard left at home.

At the counter, in a few seconds

The customer pays, scans the QR and gets a number. When the coffee is served, the till screen taps "Ready" and the stamp drops onto the card. For a group ordering together, the till decides how many stamps they get.

  • Card saved with a WhatsApp message or in Google Wallet.
  • A single reward for the whole café, for example a free coffee or mint tea.
  • Reward handed over against a 6-digit code.

Ramadan, longer evenings

During Ramadan the morning coffee vanishes and the room fills after ftour, sometimes until late. Stamps keep coming on the same terms. The automatic WhatsApp reminder, sent to customers who stopped coming, earns its keep after Eid, when everyone slips back into their normal hours. Customers can switch those messages off whenever they wish.

Google reviews, nothing in return

After a visit, Stampylo suggests the customer leaves a Google review. The Google button appears first, for everyone, followed by an optional private rating that only you read. No stamp or gift is ever given for a review, and each customer gets at most one request every 2 months.

Example for a neighbourhood café in Salé

Example to adjust: a black coffee at 9 DH, rule "8 coffees, the 9th free". A regular who stops by every weekday morning earns the reward roughly every two weeks. Stampylo costs MAD 199 per month, after a free demo with no commitment.

Questions

Can a waiter stamp a card without going through the till?

No. The stamp arrives when the till screen, or the kitchen screen if you picked it, marks a real order "Ready".

Can I offer a tea or a breakfast instead?

Yes. You pick the reward; there is only one per café.

Do my iPhone customers get Apple Wallet?

Not for now. They keep the card on WhatsApp or in the browser.
