Digital loyalty card in Agadir for cafés, snack bars and bakeries
A digital loyalty card in Agadir has to work for neighbourhood regulars, students, office workers and visitors on the seafront at the same time. Stampylo replaces the paper card with a stamp card on the phone, and a stamp is added only when the order is confirmed ready. This page explains how to use it in an Agadir food business, limits included.

Agadir: beach, fishing port and university
According to Wikipedia, Agadir had 504,768 inhabitants in the 2024 census. The city is described as a major tourist centre of Morocco, with a beach of more than 10 km and a seafront promenade of about nine kilometres. It also has one of the country's main fishing ports, long known for sardines, and Ibn Zohr University, one of the largest in Morocco. After the 1960 earthquake, the city was entirely rebuilt to earthquake-resistant standards.
So the same kind of shop does not see the same customers from one area to the next. In Talborjt and the centre, around Boulevard Hassan II and Boulevard Mohammed V, customers are often office workers and regulars. The Dakhla neighbourhood is close to Ibn Zohr University, so students come by between classes. Towards Founty, the Marina and the seafront, hotels and the beach bring visitors. Around Souk El Had, the largest market in the region, people come to shop and stop to eat.
How the digital loyalty card works in Agadir with Stampylo
The customer pays first, scans the QR code at the counter with the phone camera and gets an order number for the day. Nothing to install, for them or for you: it all runs in the browser on Android and iPhone.
- A stamp is added only when the order is confirmed ready: no stamp without a real order.
- The cashier sets the number of stamps for an order, for example several stamps for a group order.
- You set the rule “buy N, get 1 free” and the reward; one reward per business, no points, no tiers.
- The card is saved with one WhatsApp message and can be added to Google Wallet. Apple Wallet is not available yet.
- The reward is redeemed at the counter with a 6-digit code.
Locals and visitors: one card for both
When the order is ready, the cashier taps “Ready”. The customer's phone rings and vibrates on Android. On iPhone, the ticket page rings only while it stays open on screen; the “Enable alert” button keeps the screen on with a loud alarm. A TV in the room can show “Preparing” and “Ready” columns and announce each number aloud in Arabic, French or English.
In a tourist city, announcements in several languages help a passing customer understand that their number is being called. The app itself is in Arabic, French and English. A customer without a smartphone is not left out: the cashier creates a ticket in one tap and the number shows on the TV.
Keeping in touch when the season changes
In a tourist city, footfall often changes with the seasons and school holidays. Neighbourhood regulars remain the base of the business all year. Stampylo can send an automatic WhatsApp reminder to customers who stopped coming; they can stop the messages at any time. You can also offer a birthday gift (only the day and month are asked).
After a visit, the customer is invited to leave a Google review. The Google button is shown first to everyone, with no filtering and no gift in exchange. The dashboard shows visits, stamps, rewards and returning customers, with a short summary email every Monday.
An Agadir example, to adapt to your prices
Example: a snack bar in Talborjt sells a sandwich for 25 DH (replace with your own price). With “buy 9, get the 10th free”, the reward costs one sandwich for every nine sold. An office worker who has lunch there twice a week earns it in about a month, and has a concrete reason to come back instead of trying the shop next door.
Stampylo costs MAD 149 per month, with a 14-day free trial and no card needed. For your type of business, see also our café, snack bar, pizzeria, juice bar and bakery pages for Agadir.
