Coffee shop loyalty
Coffee shop loyalty card: the 10th coffee free, no app
A coffee shop does not run like a terrace café: customers order at the counter, wait standing for their latte, then leave with a cup. A coffee shop loyalty card has to keep up with that pace. With Stampylo, the customer scans a QR code, gets a number, is called when the drink is ready, and their 'buy 9 coffees, get the 10th free' card fills up on its own on their phone. Here is how it works in Morocco, and what the tool does not do.
14-day free trial, no credit card.

Coffee shop or terrace café: not the same need
In a traditional terrace café, the waiter brings the glass to the table. In a specialty coffee shop or a takeaway coffee counter, everything happens at the counter: pay, wait, pick up. Drinks do not always come out in ticket order, because a cappuccino, a flat white and an iced latte do not take the same time.
That is where loyalty and order calling meet. The same scan lets the customer follow the order and earn a stamp. For a traditional café with table service, our café and snack bar loyalty page is the better starting point.
The latte is ready: call a number, not a name
The customer pays first, then scans the counter QR code with the phone camera. They get an order number for the day. Their page shows the order status, how many orders are ahead and an estimated wait based on your average preparation time.
When the barista is done, the cashier screen (or the bar screen, if you choose that the bar marks orders ready) taps 'Ready'. The customer's phone rings.
- On Android: sound, vibration and a push notification
- On iPhone: the page rings only while it stays open on screen; the 'Enable alert' button keeps the screen on with a loud alarm. The push notification arrives on iPhone only if the page was added to the home screen
- A customer whose card is saved on WhatsApp also gets one 'order ready' message
- Optional TV screen with 'Preparing' and 'Ready' columns, a chime and a voice announcement of each number in Arabic, French or English
- A customer without a smartphone: the cashier creates a ticket in one tap and the number shows on the TV
How the Stampylo coffee shop loyalty card works
You choose the rule, for example buy 9 coffees, get the 10th free. That is only an example: you set the number and the reward. There is one reward per business, no points and no tiers, so the rule fits in one sentence at the counter.
Stamps are added only when the order is confirmed 'Ready'. At the counter you set the number of stamps for each order: a customer who buys three drinks can get three, if that is your rule. No real order, no stamp.
When the card is full, the reward is redeemed at the counter with a 6-digit code. Every action is logged with the screen link that did it, and a daily check flags abnormal days. No more stamps handed to friends at closing time.
Google Wallet for Android users, WhatsApp for everyone
The customer saves the card with one WhatsApp message, on Android and iPhone alike. On Android, they can also add it to Google Wallet, where it updates itself after each ready order.
Apple Wallet is not available in Stampylo yet. It is coming. In the meantime, iPhone customers keep their card through WhatsApp and the browser. Nobody installs an app, neither the customer nor you.
Birthday gift and WhatsApp reminders for regulars
A coffee shop lives on its morning regulars. When one of them stops coming, Stampylo can send an automatic WhatsApp reminder. The customer can stop these messages at any time.
- Optional birthday gift: Stampylo asks only for the day and month, not the year
- Offer campaigns go only to customers who accepted marketing messages, bought as credit packs
- At most one offer message a week
Google reviews matter for coffee shops
Many people search for a coffee shop on Google Maps before heading out. Google's Business Profile help page (support.google.com/business/answer/7091, checked on 2026-10-25) says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and prominence, and that more reviews and positive ratings can help a business's local ranking.
After a visit, Stampylo invites the customer by push notification, or on WhatsApp once you have set your Google review link. The page shows the Google review button first to every customer, then an optional private rating with a comment only you see. A 5-star private rating also opens the Google page.
Stampylo never filters who sees the Google button, never gives stamps, gifts or discounts for reviews, and never writes or buys reviews. A customer gets at most one request every 2 months, and none for 6 months after a rating.
What you need to start
No hardware to buy. You need the A4 QR poster (in French, Arabic or English), a tablet or phone for the cashier screen, and a TV if you want one. The cashier screen opens from a link, with no password, and you can revoke that link at any time.
Order numbers start at 1 each day, or follow your till. An optional QR that changes every 30 seconds can show on the screens: a photo of it stops working within a minute.
The dashboard shows visits, stamps, rewards, returning customers and private ratings, with a short summary email every Monday. Orders, screens and customers are unlimited. Price: MAD 149 MAD per month, MAD 399 MAD for 3 months or MAD 1,490 MAD per year, after a 14-day free trial with no card. You pay by bank transfer from the dashboard or with a prepaid activation code.
The limits, stated plainly
- No online ordering ahead: the customer orders and pays at the counter
- No POS integration; order numbers can only follow the till's numbers
- No Apple Wallet for now
- On iPhone, the ring needs the page to stay open
- No SMS: messages go through WhatsApp
Questions
Does a customer earn one stamp per coffee?
You decide: at the counter the number of stamps is set for each order confirmed 'Ready'. Three drinks can give three stamps, or one if your rule counts visits.
Do my customers need to install an app?
No. Everything runs in the browser on Android and iPhone. The card is saved with a WhatsApp message, and in Google Wallet on Android.
Does the card work in Apple Wallet?
Not yet. It is coming. iPhone customers keep their card through WhatsApp.
Can the reward be something other than a coffee?
Yes. You choose the number of stamps and the reward, for example a latte or a pastry. One reward per business.
Does Stampylo connect to my POS?
No, there is no POS integration. Order numbers can follow your till, or the cashier types the receipt number.
How much does Stampylo cost?
MAD 149 MAD per month, MAD 399 MAD for 3 months or MAD 1,490 MAD per year, after a 14-day free trial with no card.
