Glovo for restaurants in Morocco: what a café or snack should know first
Delivery can bring your café or snack customers who never walk past your door. This guide to Glovo for restaurants in Morocco sums up what the platforms publish themselves: sign-up, fees, preparation rules, packaging. It also covers the counter at peak hours and how to get customers to come in person. Everything was checked on 26 October 2026 on the partner pages of Glovo and Kooul.

Which delivery apps can a café use in Morocco?
Glovo has a partner site with a Morocco page (sell.glovoapp.com). Kooul also has a Become a partner form on kooul.ma, open to restaurants among others. Other apps exist: for each one, read its own partner page and contract, not what people say about it.
Worth knowing: in a note published with its Moroccan partner terms, Glovoapp Morocco SARL says it removed exclusivity clauses from its contracts with cafés and restaurants from 25 September 2025, following an agreement with the Competition Council (Conseil de la Concurrence) on 24 July 2025. So in principle you can be on several apps. Still check your own contract.
Becoming a Glovo partner: the steps
According to Glovo Morocco's FAQ, a restaurant usually goes live within 5 working days once all information and documents are sent and the contract is signed. The general terms for partners (Glovoapp Morocco SARL, updated October 2025) add several points to read before signing.
- Sign up through the partner site form, then send your documents online
- A complete menu is required to be activated: photos, descriptions and required information for 100% of products, allergens included
- Orders arrive in the GoDroid app (Android) or on a device supplied by Glovo, which stays Glovo's property: a 2,108 MAD penalty if it is not returned or is lost, unless you bought it
- An initial 24-month commitment, renewed automatically, with 60 days' notice to stop
- Without that notice, the terms set a surcharge of 10% of the last 3 months' transactions
Glovo for restaurants in Morocco: what the platform takes
Glovo Morocco's pricing page shows 28% for Delivery with Glovo (Glovo couriers deliver) and 15% for In-store pick-up (the customer collects the order). It is a percentage of each order's subtotal, and the page notes that fees may vary by city. The general terms speak of an agreed percentage plus VAT where applicable: the rate that counts is the one in your contract.
Depending on the case, the terms also mention Prime order fees of up to 4 DH per order, early payment fees and sponsored visibility that can affect ranking. Sales are paid out twice a month. Kooul does not publish its commission on its partner page: it is set in the contract.
Example, replace with your own numbers: a sandwich sold at 30 DH. At the published 28%, the fee is 8.40 DH, plus VAT where applicable. That leaves 21.60 DH for ingredients, packaging and staff. Run this product by product against your cost price before choosing your delivery menu.
Prices on the app and prices in the shop
Many owners wonder whether the app should show the same price as the counter. Glovo Morocco's terms require descriptions to match what the partner provides, and make the partner bear any gap between the app and the shop, giving the example of a difference between the price on the app and the price in store.
Before showing different prices, ask your Glovo contact and keep the answer in writing. Another approach is a shorter delivery menu, with products that travel well and still leave a margin after fees.
Packaging: what arrives in good shape
Packaging is on you. Glovo sells partners paper bags, security stickers and sustainable packaging on its Glovo Store. Build that cost into the price of every delivered item.
A damaged order is expensive: for an incomplete or wrong order, or a quality problem caused by the partner, the terms say you may bear the product's price plus a penalty of up to 30% of its value, plus VAT where applicable.
- Hot drinks: tight lids and cup holders
- Hot and cold apart: a juice should not travel next to a panini
- Sauces on the side so the bread does not go soggy
- Fries and crispy items: test a real trip before putting them on the menu
Counter and couriers: handling the rush
According to Glovo Morocco's FAQ, you have about 15 minutes between order confirmation and the courier's arrival. The terms say that beyond 10 minutes late on the preparation time, you pay 7 MAD plus 0.5 MAD per minute until the courier collects the order. A cancellation on your side (closed during the hours you announced, a missing product) can cost 10 MAD plus VAT per order.
At peak hours, waiting couriers and counter customers get in each other's way. A few habits help:
- A pick-up corner for couriers, away from the counter line
- One person in charge of the delivery tablet during the rush
- A realistic preparation time at busy hours: the terms mention times suggested by Glovo or chosen by the partner
- Sold-out items taken off the menu at once, so you do not have to cancel
Getting customers to come in person
A counter order pays no commission and keeps you in touch with the customer. Remind people why it is worth coming: food served hot, an in-shop offer, a loyalty card, an up-to-date Google Maps listing (see our guides on attracting customers and on café loyalty).
One caution: Glovo Morocco's terms let Glovo end the contract if the partner puts flyers or promotions for its own platforms or third-party platforms inside Glovo orders. So do not slip leaflets into Glovo bags. Invite people at the counter, in your window and on Google.
Where Stampylo helps, and its limits
Stampylo does not connect to Glovo or to any delivery app. Delivery orders do not appear on its screens and earn no stamps.
It is for the counter. The customer pays, scans the QR code, gets a number and waits seated or outside: the phone rings when the order is ready (on iPhone, only while the page stays open; the Enable alert button keeps the screen on). The TV shows orders being prepared and ready, and announces each number out loud. Fewer people at the counter means more room for couriers.
The loyalty card only counts counter orders confirmed Ready: a stamp card with one reward, saved with one WhatsApp message. Price: MAD 149 per month, with a 14-day free trial and no card.
